One of the best books we have read this year "The Power of Moments: Why Certain Experiences Have Extraordinary Impact," by Chip & Dan Heath. Every team success, personal goal attained, product launch, quarterly goal exceeded, speech given, can easily be forgotten/brushed past during these crazy times. Alternatively, these key moments should be viewed through the lens of a "powerful moment".
Why spend the time doing something if it is not worth being memorable? Anyone who influences others should read this book. That really means that it is a book for all of us…
I think that is part of the reason why we are seeing higher employee turnover. Recognition is down due to the hectic nature of the world causing busier schedules for our leaders. The best leaders are becoming less constrained during these times and more focused on creating impacts through meaningful interactions.
Being in the awards industry allows us to assist in these moments. Really glad that we read this and added it to our library. What others would you recommend we add to the library?
